The Department has instituted four merit scholarships. Every year, several of our final year students get placements in leading IT companies. We offer an open course ‘Chemistry in Everyday Life’ for the students of other departments. The choice based course offered by the Department is Polymer Chemistry.

Profile of the Department

P.G Department of chemistry (S.F) is established in the year of 2013  .  We offer a P.G degree in chemistry . We have 20  students each for I  P.G  and II  P.G  classes.  Our department has a Rtd. Professor and three lectures.

We provide  oppourtunity  for both students and teachers to participate in National seminars conducted  by  various colleges and universities. With careful consideration, we have shortlisted CUSAT, Agricultural University Mannuthy,  Cardamom  Research  Centre Myladumpara and M.G. University for doing MSc Chemistry project. We hope these prestigious institutions will help our students to get practical experience and knowledge on what they have learned. Our students used to  secure  good results (above 80 %)  in university examinations .
